Burkert's range of pneumatic solenoid valves includes a large number of different models designed to meet the varied demands of different process applications.  Burkert type 6105/6106 solenoid valves are among the most durable of the company's many high performance valves which offer precision control of fluid and gas flow under even the toughest of conditions.

The 6105 and 6106 are 16 mm wide rocker valves which offer 2/2-way and 3/2 way functionality, respectively and are capable of handling flow rates of as high as 40 liters per minute. Their elegantly simple design means a lower cost of ownership; these pneumatic solenoid valves are frictionless, offering a long useful life in conditions with absolutely no lubrication - they can even be used in a technical vacuum. They're low maintenance and have very low power consumption and are compatible with a wide range of electrical and control interfaces as well as with many different types of fluid interfaces.

The construction of type 6105/6106 valves is simple and incredibly durable. A plastic body holds a frictionless armature with a DC coil and a spring. The actuator is hermetically sealed with a stainless steel plate to prevent the infiltration of liquid media. The rocker armature can close or open two connections alternately when the 6105/6106 is switched - the spring sets the de-energized position of these pneumatic solenoid valves. The simplicity of its design serves a very important function - allowing for switching while minimizing the movement of the rocker to reduce wear on the armature.

Burkert's type 6106 is a bistable version of the type 6105 valve made for switching systems which use impulse control. It's designed to save energy and reduce heat generation and like the type 6105 , it's suitable for use as a pilot valve or a direct-acting single valve as well as in manifold assemblies. Both of these reliable, durable pneumatic solenoid valves are ideal for use in lubricated or non-lubricated environments where precision and a long product life are mission critical.
