Endress+Hauser will be taking part in the NEMEX show, part of Sustainability Live, to demonstrate the energy saving opportunities available to all.

Taking place at the Birmingham NEC between May 24th and 26th, the National Energy Management Exhibition is the UK's leading energy and renewables event, offering innovative technology and systems to help tackle the challenges in the industry.

Environmental protection and increasing energy prices give reason enough to implement an energy management system, and the new BS EN 16001 European Energy Management Standard and forthcoming ISO 50001 International Energy Management Standard mean organisations must do more. Continual improvements in energy efficiency and independent certifications are required, with monitoring and measuring at the heart of the processes.

At NEMEX, Endress+Hauser will be demonstrating how energy bills can be reduced by up to 20% by using its proven energy management solutions. Simple and highly scalable, they cover the four components that make up energy management.

Utility metering

With metering technologies for gas, steam, water, air and electricity, Endress+Hauser is the supplier with the biggest range of intelligent utility meters.

Automatic interval data collection

The networked gateways and data loggers support a variety of signal outputs and open protocols. This ensures all data is collected in teal time and stored securely, making energy figures reliable and accurate.

Data analysis and reporting

Endress+Hauser uses a specialist browser-based energy monitoring and targeting package called eSight. This can be installed in one location and accessed from anywhere across the organisation, with simple set-up and maintenance.

Audits and consultancy

Focused audits mean areas where energy performance can be improved are easily and quickly identified. Further consultancy helps to deliver energy savings and process improvements.

Having installed the comprehensive energy management solution at Endress+Hauser headquarters in Manchester, the benefits have been seen first-hand. The system has been awarded the BS EN 16001 European Energy Management Standard and has become an important part of the firm's environmental protection schemes.

Organisations are invited to visit the Endress+Hauser stand at NEMEX and see for themselves how the energy management system can save money and enhance performance.
